Motivation at it's strongest

"Life without passion is nothing"
In the last weeks I have been on the road to reignite my motivation that has seemed to dim since I first started school. I have noticed that my motivation is higher than ever. I have had the time to reflect and really think about what this opportunity can do for my life. After realizing the importance of the opportunity I was given it has refocused my motivation. My motivation has lead me to wanting to know more about the fashion industry and making it my obsession. For the last weeks I had made it a habit to read an article related to fashion at least once a day from websites or magazines to stay updated with the ever changing fashion industry. I have also joined a fashion club on campus to help keep me motivated about fashion I feel like since this journey has started I have become more involved with the fashion department at my school and I have become overall a little more knowledgeable about the fashion industry.

My experiences are my driving force and my motivation.

"Everyone is tested by life, but only a few extract strength and wisdom
from their most trying experiences. They’re the ones we call leaders."

My motivation is driven by my past experiences they are the driving forces that keep me motivated to continue on this path to becoming infatuated with the Fashion Industry and becoming successful in this industry. When I first started this journey at The Art Institute of San Francisco I was highly motivated because I took the chance to pursue something that I wanted not something that someone else wanted me to pursue. All my life I wanted to please others but when I had to make the choice of what I wanted for the rest of my life I chose to something for me once. Since then I feel that I have gotten comfortable and my motivation isn't as high as it was when I first started. Lately I have a new experience that has refueled my motivation. One of my teachers Mr. Rosen gave me tough love on one of my assignments. I had made a book from hand for his Fashion Show Production he gave me some really harsh feedback that put me into tears. He knew that I had great potential but my execution of the work wasn't up to par. In that very moment I had two options either take his criticism or ignore it. I went back and redid my entire assignment and got an A on my assignment. He told me we should not look at our assignments as just an homework assignment but as a future potential opportunity for us. We could use that project to really develop them into reality to benefit us. I needed this experience to re-look and reflect on why I am here. This fueled my motivation to try to exceed in my projects and look at them as a opportunity to do something great.
